DWC WEEKLY JOBWATCH

Welcome to this week’s DWC Jobwatch.

It’s that time again, and I’ve rounded up a fresh selection of opportunities, including both full-time and part-time roles. As always, these are curated opportunities, not a list of every dental or medical writing job I could find. Some are highly specialised, so take a moment to check the requirements before applying.

As always, all positions are live at the time of writing, so take a look and see where your next writing opportunity might be.

DENTAL WRITING OPPORTUNITIES

JOB TITLE: Copywriter Dental & Medical Aesthetics

Company: Health Hue Digital

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote/ Worldwide

Salary: Not disclosed

Role Summary:

Health Hue Digital is looking for a conversion-focused copywriter to create content for medical aesthetics clinics. The work includes treatment and concern pages, website landing pages, advertising copy, email campaigns and SMS follow-up sequences.

The successful candidate will need to produce persuasive, patient-focused content while ensuring clinical claims are accurate and compliant with healthcare advertising standards.

Who might be a fit?

Writers with at least three years’ experience in conversion copywriting, particularly those who can translate clinical information into clear, engaging patient-facing content. Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, dentistry or elective healthcare would be an advantage.

Dale’s Take:

An interesting opportunity for someone with a background in dental or healthcare copywriting who wants to move into the medical aesthetics sector. The worldwide remote arrangement makes this particularly attractive, although applicants will need to demonstrate commercial copywriting proof rather than simply producing informative blog content.

This role closes Dec 7th, so they are actively recruiting now.

Company: Driven Dental Marketing

Job Type: Project workload with variable hours

Location:  Remote

Salary: Not specified

Role Summary:

Driven Dental Marketing is looking for a copywriter to produce persuasive, SEO-focused website content for dental practices, particularly those offering dental implants and complex dental treatments.

The writer will work alongside the agency’s editorial and SEO teams, following established content guidelines and incorporating feedback.

Who might be a fit?

Writers with experience producing website content, SEO articles and conversion-focused copy. An understanding of digital marketing and the ability to write in different brand voices are important. Familiarity with the US dental industry is an advantage, but not essential.

Dale’s Take:

This is typical of agency work and is a good opportunity, particularly for thos writers who understand how to turn clinical information into patient-friendly website content. Experience with dental implants would be especially useful. The variable workload may also appeal to freelancers looking to take on additional client projects.

JOB TITLE; SEO Content Editor & Writer

Company: Dentaly.org

Job Type: Remote freelance

Location:  Ideally, Europe-based, but worldwide entries will be considered

Salary: Not disclosed

Role Summary:

Dentaly.org is still inviting applications from experienced SEO content writers and editors to contribute to its international dental information websites.

The work involves creating new articles and reviewing, updating and optimising existing content. Dentaly has more than 2,200 articles across its various country-specific websites, covering markets including the UK, US, Spain, Germany, France and Italy.

Who might be a good fit:

Writers with strong SEO content experience, excellent written English and the ability to work independently. Experience with WordPress and content editing is beneficial. Previous dental or medical writing experience is welcome but not essential.

Dale’s Take:

I mentioned this role a few weeks ago in the 19th October edition of Jobwatch, but this is an ongoing opportunity, as and when vacancies arise, rather than a one-off job role. So, it’s worth another mention, here.

If you don’t know, Dentaly.org is a well-respected site with an established international presence. As such they have a substantial content library, so there may be opportunities for both new content and ongoing editorial work. It’s also a good opportunity for the right candidate to get by-lined work.

Healthcare & Medical Writing Opportunities

JOB TITLE: Senior Medical Writer

Company: Syneos Health

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote UK, Poland, Serbia, Spain

Salary:  Not Discolosed

Role Summary:

Syneos Health is recruiting an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join its sponsor-dedicated clinical team.

The role involves preparing and reviewing scientific and regulatory documentation, ensuring clinical information is communicated accurately and in accordance with relevant industry guidelines. Responsibilities also include mentoring less experienced writers and developing expertise in therapeutic areas and regulatory requirements.

Who might be a fit?

Experienced medical writers with around 3–5 years’ relevant experience and a background in the biopharmaceutical, medical device or contract research organisation (CRO) industry.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of FDA and ICH regulations, experience producing clinical or regulatory documents and excellent scientific writing and editing skills.

Dale’s Take:

This is a more specialist opportunity than the other roles in this week’s JobWatch. It isn’t aimed at general healthcare content writers or those looking to break into medical writing. However, for an established medical writer with clinical or regulatory experience, it’s a substantial opportunity with an international organisation.

This Week's Takeaway

Final Thoughts:

If you have experience in dental SEO, website copywriting and patient-focused healthcare content, then this weeks opportunities throw up a good mix of full and part time roles. Some are more specialised than others but it just goes to show there are opportunities at every stage of your career if you know where to look.
