Welcome to this week’s DWC Jobwatch.
This week’s opportunities provide some interesting possibilities for writers and dental professionals with the right experience.
As always, these are curated opportunities, not a list of every writing job I could find and all are currently active at the time of writing.
Company: Ampli5 Dental
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Remote
Salary: Not disclosed
Role Summary: Write treatment pages, patient guides and marketing campaigns for UK dental practices. The emphasis is on explaining clinical subjects in accessible language, particularly for patients who may be anxious about treatment.
Who might be a fit? An experienced dental copywriter with excellent patient-facing writing skills and an understanding of UK dentistry.
Dale’s Take: This is a proper full-time dental copywriting position within a UK-based agency who are happy for the successful candidate to work remotely. It may be worth checking whether the term “remote” also means outside of the UK.
Company: Sunrise Media
Job Type: Full-Time 8 hours a day 6 days a week
Location: Remote
Salary: Not disclosed
Role Summary: Support the client success team with copywriting, video scripts, advertising copy and creative quality control. The agency works with dental clinics across North America.
Who might be a fit? A dental marketing copywriter comfortable producing promotional content, reviewing creative work and working alongside account managers.
Dale’s Take: An interesting opportunity for someone wanting to move into dental marketing, working with a large US agency. However I would ask whether there is any leeway on the 6-day working week, and whether there is a US remote restriction on this.
Company: Independent digital marketing agency, Switzerland
Job Type: Freelance, 1–3 months, with potential for ongoing work
Location: Worldwide remote
Salary: $5 -$50 per hour
Role Summary: Develop and write original Reddit content aimed at US dental practice owners and decision-makers. Responsibilities include researching dental marketing trends, patient acquisition, advertising and practice growth, developing content plans and writing useful, discussion-led posts.
Who might be a good fit: An experienced dental content writer or copywriter who understands the business side of dentistry, can research independently and knows how to write engaging B2B content.
Dale’s Take: I like this one because it requires genuine thinking, research and an understanding of the dental industry. It’s not another request for generic SEO blogs. The client specifically wants original human writing and prohibits AI-generated copy
Company: Private US-based healthcare business
Job Type: Freelance, 1–3 months
Location: Worldwide remote
Salary: $20–$30 per hour
Role Summary: Develop and structure website content covering medical billing, revenue cycle management, coding and insurance claims. The work includes SEO and optimisation for AI-powered search.
Who might be a fit? An experienced healthcare writer with specific knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle management or healthcare administration.
Dale’s Take: This is a good healthcare content opportunity for the right person. Specialised applicants must demonstrate previous medical billing content experience.
Final Thoughts:
This week’s opportunities highlight the different directions a career in dental writing can take. From traditional dental copywriting and content creation to dental marketing, social media and editorial work, there are opportunities to use your industry knowledge in ways that go beyond writing blogs and treatment pages. Some roles are more specialised than others, and not every vacancy will suit everyone, but it’s worth keeping an open mind. The ability to understand dentistry, research accurately, and communicate complex information clearly is a valuable skill set, and one that can open doors across the wider healthcare and marketing industries.
